The app is great when it wants to work. For the past week, I have been experiencing problems with the app opening up, all it says is “one sec.” After restarting my plane several times, the problem still exists. Is anyone else having this issue?
The reason why it is so easy to get approved through this company is because they are literally going to scam you! I bought a bed set and a couch from Bell furniture for a total of $1900. When I started paying acima, they told me that there was a 60 day cash price. However, I told them several times to signed me up for the 60 day PayOut option, which they did not do. And by the time 60 days was up, they added $3000 of fees to my total amount. So, originally where I was paying a little over $2000, now they are saying that owe $5000 since I did not pay the early pay option. A complete joke! I told them that they could come take their furniture back. Just an absolute nightmare I would never recommend this company.
When I first signed to get my item I was so not aware of all the extra fees that come out . They gave me the finial price I would be paying every two weeks in the store , but upon checking out my bank statements I’m actually paying more . I thought about just paying the item completely off but when I looked at the pay out amount it almost doubles in interest . I wouldn’t recommend this leasing company unless you are ok with paying all the extra “taxes” they have to offer. Not to mention, waiting to pay all your payments on time will result in you almost tripling in price. Think before you bye.
Haven’t had a good experience and all these 5 Star ratings make it look kinda shady. Got approved for an amount. Paid first initial payment but haven’t gotten any info in return so I can checkout my items at the online store of my choice. None of the Reps are trained for this new app and all I get is that the techs know what going on and are trying to fix it. It’s been 2 weeks since I signed the lease agreement and paid the first payment. And all I get it it should be fixed this date then this date… even the reps said it’s been a nightmare with the app and with no training on what to do… they even added why would they offer such a thing if they knew it had critical issues.
Don’t believe the paid bot responses… no matter who you end up having a lease for through Acima the predatory lending rates are astronomical… I totally understand that some folks might prefer a two year lease to buy but even paying off the lease inside 90-Days has an astronomical amount of interest where you’re paying pretty much double the regular retail price just for paying off inside 90-days… you’re better off saving up your money. The company literally doesn’t care about you and even when you make a payment on-time they’ll still take the regularly scheduled payment until your lease is done or bought out and those kinda double charges are crazy…
Went and applied and to my surprise, got approved for $1400. I downloaded the app and from the get go it is awful. Constantly glitchy and slow to load every single page. Like, you maybe have a 2% chance to get through to a page. Went on the PC to checkout there. I get to the final step for payment and I can’t enter my debit card number. Tried to reach out through chat but was met with some of the most terrible CSR I’ve ever seen. No acknowledgement, just told me to call a number after waiting. No attempt to help me. Good thing I didn’t give them my money. They sure as heck don’t deserve business
Great company got approved and what not, i wont lie i started to wonder if this was a scam since i paided my initial payment and then boom app crashes and nothing, no item & out the initial payment that came out of my card. Took me two days finally to reach someone successfully in the in app department sicne the phone lines were 1 hr to 1 hr- 2hr wait times to ralk to someone and then it would hang up on it own. Finally got it resolved got my item but app needs to be looked at it. If it wasn’t for the app acting a fool i would of gave you 5 stars.
They act as if I’m inconveniencing them app having technical issues placed an order weeks ago and haven’t heard a thing contacted them just to find out that it’s some issues with the virtual card (NOT MY PROBLEM) and the order supposedly never went through but they charged my account for the first payment in my final price I paid for delivery and installation agent told me I have to pick it up!! what and every time I talk to anyone im getting the run around or transferring to different departments wish I could give no stars
So the app logged me in fine one day had all my lease history and everything seemed fine. Started a new lease yesterday and logged into the app and it will not let me log in saying I don’t have an Acima account and my login doesent exist. It doesent recognize my phone number and refuses to let me log in to the point of basically wanting me to create a new account. Now I’m unsure how to pay for my lease Edit: Not sure what changed but app seems to be working fine now
I’m not sure what the secret is to getting in touch with this company. I’m trying to update the phone number on my account so that I can verify my account at the time of purchase. You cannot update your phone number online or on the app. I have sat for hours on different chats getting “transferred” only to have no one pick up the chat. I have sat on hold on the phone for hours after being told my wait time was 15 minutes. I even tried using the Spanish line to no avail. The only response I have received is “a different department is handling your account” and then they transfer me and no one ever picks back up. If you are able, I would use a different leasing company.
One time cards do not work after after initiating your lease. When you contact customer service they are helpful but are clueless as to what is going on with the app themselves. Was told glitches would be resolved by many dates according to their IT area and nothing had been fixed. My suggestion: get rid of your entire IT area and get folks who know what they are doing and delete all of these fake 5 star ratings.
Wow. What a great idea to make applying for and using the approved lease $. Thanks Acima for helping me out. And thanks for the awesome App. It makes it super simple to manage my lease and applying to other shops is so intuitive. And if you wonder: I just got approved for leasing some much needed tires. Love it!
I have restarted my phone and the MacBook but neither the app nor the desktop extension shows the virtual card which makes trying to purchase anything nearly impossible. If you are offering this service to many people it should work flawlessly instead of me having to sit on hold on the phone for your team for over an hour all to just get disconnected
Zero stars if possible! This company is horrible. They auto draft on any day they please. I am always auto drafted early (10+ days before my draft date) for some reason. It has happened multiple times on different Leasing agreements. The customer service is horrible, everyone I talk to is rude and seems to not want to help! I will never suggest them to anyone nor will I ever use them again.
I did business with this company and have been calling them about property that I’m not paying for since it does not work. I had so many problems and on the day the property was supposed to be paid for they aren’t any customer service representatives available. I’m disappointed in this company. I will never use them or any of their vendors again. They don’t care about their customers!

I paid off one lease and currently paying off another. However i have a remaining balance on my lease and wanted to buy something else but everytime i try to it say “technically difficulties” i guess i can have two active lease at the same time, but they’re not clear on rather u can or not And customer service is horrible
Got a ps5, because it was not avaible anywhere. Paid it off within 3 months. Boom, bang pow. Your finish. Sometimes the actual place works with you. All hope is not lost guys.
No complaints. Very easy to use and quick application process. I would highly recommend it
Goodbye credit cards, this is all I’m using from now on! I have admittedly not the best credit and Acima is helping me lease things I need for my family now! Leasing is the future ditch the credit cards!

How to delete Acima Leasing
Find out how to delete Acima Leasing on your iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.
- Touch and hold the app.
- Tap Remove App.
- Tap Delete App, then tap Delete to confirm.
If you touch and hold an app from the Home Screen and the apps start to jiggle:
- Tap the Remove icon in the top left-hand corner of the app.
- Tap Delete App, then tap Delete to confirm.

How to delete Acima Leasing on Android Device

How to cancel Acima Leasing subscription
Acima Leasing is a free app and does not offer in-app purchase in the Apple Appstore, you might have purchased a subscription from another company or device. Try these methods to cancel your subscriptions
Cancel a subscription on paypal
- Log in to your PayPal account at www.paypal.com.
- Click on the settings tab which is beside the logout option.
- Press “Payments” from the menu provided to you and click on “Manage Automatic Payments” in the Automatic Payments dashboard.
- You may see a series of merchant’s agreements you’ve transacted before. Click on Acima Leasing to cancel.
- You will be shown a confirmation page. Click on the “Cancel Automatic Payments” tab to affirm that you want to stop making payments to Acima.
- Then click “Done” on the verification page to complete the unsubscription.
Cancel a subscription on your bank account
On your bank statement, find the charge for the subscription. If your bank statement doesn’t say Apple, apple.com/bill, or something similar, Apple doesn’t provide this subscription to you. To cancel the subscription, contact Acima that offers the subscription to you. Statements often list the name of the company, such as Hulu, Pandora, YouTube, Amazon, HBO, etc.

- Open the Google Play Store. If you have multiple Google accounts, be sure you’re signed into the right one.
- Click menu, then go to “Subscriptions”.
